Shelter
A female chaplain on the verge of burnout working at a homeless shelter, gets a call from a clueless hospital receptionist to come and bless a newborn. She takes this as a sign of hope which is dashed when she discovers that the receptionist meant to say, “stillborn.” Her existential crisis ripples through the homeless shelter as she and the residents try to deal with the meaning or meaninglessness of life. Short.
